Who is Vivian Laverde
Graduated from the UNAM Law School. Since 2002 she has performing as a lawyer specializing in real estate, title insurance and title research in public registries of property throughout the country. In 2006 she established in Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo and in 2008 created the law firm Laverde Attorneys, specialized in closing services, property title investigation and escrow services in the Riviera Maya and the Yucatan Peninsula.
Her extensive experience ranges from topics such as closing transactions involving Mexican and foreign persons& corporations, preparing contracts and documents for transferring property, powers of attorney, corporate documents and experienced in organizing and holding regular and special general assembly & shareholders meetings. Vivian’s experience in Real Estate and Notarial Law began in 1996 as a lawyer with Notary No. 103 of the Federal District for Armando Pérez Gálvez Aragon. Under his direction, she was responsible for preparing and authorizing the execution of purchase/sale deeds, trusts, loan agreements, mortgages, all variations of powers of attorney, constitution of corporations, certified statement of facts and preparing special meeting minutes, among others. Subsequently, at Psicofarma Laboratory, SA, she specialized in corporate matters. Here, she performed the duties of a Public Relations Coordinator.

In 2008 she ventured on her own and founded the law firm, Laverde & Co. SC, specializing in reviewing and preparing title research reports (due diligence) from the public registries of property and authorizing the execution of real estate transactions. Types of transactions include the creation of Trusts, transferring property rights, purchase with reservation of ownership, promissory transfer agreements, etc. She is accomplished in handling the administration of properties to foreigners in the Riviera Maya (including payment services, maintenance, condominium fees, legal representative of owner, lease, transfer of property, drafting contracts & agreements). And finally, Vivian is experienced and proficient in handling real estate litigation, judgments & injunctions in the courts of law of Quintana Roo.
